Kim Richards is slapped with another lawsuit. This time it is triggered by the alleged violent behavior of her pit bull Kingsley.
The star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" was slapped a lawsuit in Los Angeles. It included negligence, emotional distress, battery and assault. It is filed by Richards' friend Paige Sanderson.
It is claimed that the incident happened in April in which Kingsley exhibited vicious and dangerous behavior and has the tendency to attack and harm people without any provocation. Sanderson has involved Richards, her son Chad Davis, sister Kyle Richards and lawyer Bruce London.
In the court documents, it was stated that Kingsley was let out even though the members of the family suspected that it could harm people around. It is claimed that Kingley "lunged at [Sanderson] and bit and held onto her lower abdomen and crotch, tearing off her leggings and underwear and ripped out portions of flesh between her legs and genitalia," reported E! News.
It seems that Kingsley has a record of attack claims against him. Kelly Crossley filed a lawsuit in June claiming that she was injured badly by Kingsley. Even Richards' niece was attacked by Kingley.
It is reported that Sanderson suffered injuries which required surgeries to be performed on her. It has caused a lot of emotional distress and physical pain.
It was also alleged that the family tried to 'hide' the incident well. Richards hesitated to seek emergency help unless Sanderson agreed to state that the incident was caused by a stray dog. Richards had tried to stay out of negative publicity by doing so as Kingsley was her pet.
It was alleged that even the hospital papers were tweaked to state that it was a stray dog attack!
Kim Richards is yet to comment on this!
