"Suits" season 6 has been a different experience for star Patrick J. Adams as majority of his scenes this year was shot in prison.
According to Cinema Blend, Adams has confessed that it has been tough filming the new "Suits" season as he does not get to interact as much with his co-stars. "I think, you know, the hardest part is that I miss my friends and a lot of those interactions," Adams said. "I miss what Mike feels like."
He, however, offered some hints that the "Suits" writers have prepared a storyline specifically as to how he will get out of jail.
"They get to work very hard over the course of the season to try and come up with creative ways to get him out of there as quickly as possible and to make sure that while he is in there, he stays alive," the "Suits" actor said.
Adams' character, Mike Ross, was jailed in the previous season of "Suits" for living a lie as a practicing lawyer and associate of New York law firm Pearson Specter Litt with name partners Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) in on the secret.
In other news, Macht has revealed that "Suits" creator Aaron Korsch originally wanted to have the sixth season tell the story of what will happen two years into the future but instead chose to portray to what extent Mike and Harvey will do to survive, the New York Post reported. He also responded to fan clamor that his character and Donna (Sarah Rafferty) should be lovers, insisting that it would "ruin" the relationship and comparing it to Ross and Rachel from the '90s TV sitcom "Friends."
The sixth season of "Suits" will premiere on July 13 in the USA Network at 9 PM ET.
