Personality Development: Rebel Wilson Opens Up About Attractive People's Unpleasing Personality

Rebel Wilson is one of the best comedians of her times. During her recent interview, the "Pitch Perfect" actress opened up about her weight, her career choice, and her personal struggles.

Known as "Fat Amy," the comedian shared that her weight gain was factored by her hormonal imbalance. She then added that it's harder for her to lose weight compared to people with regular hormonal flow, but it is doable.

In an interview with Sunday Telegraph, Rebel Wilson shared that some people might find their weight to be unpleasing, but she on the other hand, used her weight to her advantage. She mentioned that she once saw a comedian who was bigger than her, which made her realize that bigger people can draw more attention in terms of making people laugh.

To her surprise, she started gaining weight. She then dished out her opinion stating that bigger girls are easier to laugh at compared to people that are attractive.

"I don't know if it was mega-conscious, but I thought: 'How can I get more laughs? Maybe if I was a bit fatter..." Rebel Wilson stated. "And then suddenly I was fatter, and doing comedy. Bigger girls do better in comedy. I don't know why. Maybe because people find it easier to laugh. It's very hard to laugh at someone who's very attractive, I think. And normally those people don't have a great personality anyway."

While it is true that less attractive people are blessed with humor, Psychology Today explained the rationale as to why are mean people good looking. It was mentioned attractive people are often caught with narcissistic tendencies, psychopathy and they tend to be mean.

An experiment conducted by the team on Nickolas Holtzman as they assess the 111 undergraduate students and their personalities. The researchers came into conclusion that individuals with dark/unpleasing personalities know how to dress themselves and look good.
