"The Last of Us" has been very terrifying but new reports have surfaced claiming that its sequel, "The Last of Us 2" will be all the more horrific as Ellie and Joel will be seen in frightening death scenes.

Breathe Cast reported that "The Last of Us 2" will show more death scenes than the first one but the developers will be utilizing principles of psychology o depict death as pain and suffering instead of just the absence of the characters.

The predecessor of "The Last of Us 2" depicted death via bloody visuals linked to murders. However, more creative and emotional cinematic elements will be used in "The Last of Us 2" in order to have fans be fully immersed with what the game is all about, what it wants its players to feel so as to make a more effective game.

Scenes From 'The Last of Us 2' Cut to Black Integrated to Make Players Wonder More

It has also been reported that some scenes will cut to just a black screen, which is linked to death. In this way, the players will have to imagine how things ended for the characters in the "The Last of Us 2" making the dying process more terrifying than seeing the character actually die before one's eyes.

Who Will Come Back in 'The Last of Us 2'?

Many are asking if Joel will actually be part of "The Last of Us 2." In the promo photo released, a pregnant woman was seen and it could be Ellie or her mother, Anna. There have been no solid speculations yet regarding the characters to be part of Naughty Dog's upcoming game sequel "The Last of Us 2".

"Last of Us" has received great ratings since the 2013 release causing the demand for the sequel. Although "The Last of Us 2" was not featured at the E3 2016, many are expecting that the game will be released some time in 2017.
