The mystery on "American Gothic" Season 1 on CBS is slowly unraveling as Garrett's storyline takes an interesting turn. In the upcoming episode airing Wednesday, July 13, Garrett will pursue a woman who has ties with the Silver Bells Killer (SBK). Is she the answer to the secret Garrett is hiding?
According to Spoiler TV, the woman is actually Christina Morales, who is the daughter of the first victim killed by SBK. In last week's episode of "American Gothic," Garrett has been stalking her and has been logging her details in a small notebook.
But Garrett was sidelined when he had an encounter with his ex-fiancé Molly. The unexpected reunion was actually staged by Madeline, Garrett's mom, who wanted him out of Boston as soon as possible because he knows something damning.
'American Gothic' Season 1: Alison's Campaign In Trouble?
Meanwhile, Alison's mayoralty campaign hits a snag in this week's "American Gothic" episode with a potential lawsuit on hand. Could this lawsuit be in relation to her brother, Cam? The latter broke into a therapist's office and destroyed video evidence of him from several years ago. Cam has been a druggie for most of his life and the video showed him as lucid and talking about a "body."
Unfortunately, Alison's opponent has been following Cam when he broke into the therapist's office. They were specifically trying to dig up dirt on the family to discredit the campaign. But then. Alison will find help in sorting this thing out in this week's "American Gothic" episode, which should hopefully close the matter for good.
'American Gothic' Season 1: Death At Hawthorne's Brings More Leads About SBK
Last week on "American Gothic," the police failed to find a DNA match from the Hawthornes, which detective Brady took from his wife, Tessa. He wanted to confirm if the belt the police had in evidence is indeed a property of the SBK, but the results came out negative. However, this twist could also indicate that Tessa is not biologically related to the Hawthornes, which could become another potential bombshell in the show.
Without any other leads to follow, the police gets a break from another death in the family. Gunther, the groundskeeper of the Hawthorne household, was found hanging in the backyard with a suicide note. Gunther was another SBK suspect, but now it looks like someone wanted to make sure he doesn't reveal what he knows.
"American Gothic" airs every Wednesday at 10:00-11:00PM, ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.
