Chloe Lanier is returning to ABC's "General Hospital," but she is not going to be the young Patricia Spencer anymore. Reports say that she will be playing a new character named Nelle.
Chloe Lanier Is Back In "General Hospital"
Chloe Lanier, who was last seen in the daytime soap opera as the young Patricia Spencer during the 52nd anniversary of "General Hospital," has been cast for a contract role, ABC Soaps In Depth reported. Chloe Lanier was able to impress the executive producer Frank Valentini and the "General Hospital" team with her amazing performance back then so they wanted to bring her back. No further details were revealed yet about her mystery role other than the character's name, Nelle.
The "Kingdom" actress also confirmed the news via her Twitter page when she retweeted ABC Soap In Depth's post and added a comment, "It's official!" She will first appear in "General Hospital" on Aug. 5, Friday.
Chloe Lanier is known for her role as Chelsea in DirecTV's "Kingdom," which has just been renewed for Season 3. She also played Penny in "Army Wives" (2012-2013), Emma Carter in "NCIS" (2014), and Sage in "Stalker" (2015).
