'Mr. Robot' Season 2 Spoilers: Rami Malek Gives Out Details of Elliot's Mania and the Rationale Behind the Shocking Death

"Mr. Robot" season 2 may be a bit far out from what fans expect to see as Eliot Alderson, who is portrayed by Rami Malek tends to lie low. During of his interviews, Rami Malek dished out a few "Mr. Robot" spoilers for the series' second season.

During his interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Rami Malek was asked as to what was the reason behind Mr. Robot's shooting. For "Mr. Robot's" season 2 premiere, it was revealed that he shot Eliot on the head. Rami Malek goes to explain that it has something to so with Eliot's mental state.

"He was seeing a psychiatrist, he knew he had hallucinations every once in a while, but there wasn't an acknowledgment that he was sharing himself with an entirely different person," added the "Mr. Robot" actor.

The "Mr. Robot" star then continued that Eliot can just easily walk away from any strenuous situation, but as for the second season, he was forced to face certain circumstances. Rami Malek then goes to explain that Eliot can no longer control his own mind as it was already sized.

"Once you have that discovery, it really begins to take over, because it preys upon that vulnerability. It opens the playing field for anything. Elliot didn't want to listen before; in the first season, he could walk away from certain situations. Right now, he can't. His mind has been compromised, and he knows it. When it becomes this compromised, there are no limits to where "Mr. Robot" will take it. There's a part of him that has ownership over Elliot's mind."

The "Mr. Robot" actor so revealed that Eliot on a hot seat as he will continually pressure him to reveal Tyrell's whereabouts. Though it was not yet clear as to whether Eliot is truly concerned with Tyrell or if he just wants clarity on what happened to him when he blackout.

Fans may be thrilled to see Eliot and "Mr. Robot" for the series' second season, Deadline revealed that the series is having a low rating in terms of the second season's debut. Despite its low ratings for the premier, fans are still optimistic that the ratings would eventually increase as the season progress.
