Despite the fact that Tom Clancy's "The Division" is still plagued with massive structural issues, several gamers didn't abandon the game. That's why, Ubisoft is trying its best efforts to fix and improve the game, just like the latest server maintenance launched for all "The Division" gaming platforms - PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
On Thursday, Jul. 14, Ubisoft conducted another three-hour server maintenance on all Tom Clancy's "The Division" gaming platforms such as Xbox One, PS4 and PC. According to Daily Express, the scheduled maintenance was more than the usual server outage and cleanup.
Tom Clancy's 'The Division' Latest Server Maintenance
There are two major alterations made in Tom Clancy's "The Division" following the game's latest server maintenance that came days after the G36 assault rifle nerf. The first key modification was an increase to all PvP weapon damage, which allows players to deal 20 percent more weapon damage to other players in the Dark Zone area.
This Tom Clancy's "The Division" PvP weapon damage alteration, however, will only affect the raw weapon damage and not the skill damage. The other fix, on the other hand, was the addition of more "kill volumes" in the "Dragon's Nest" Incursion map area, VG24/7 notes.
Tom Clancy's 'The Division' July 12 Update
Prior to Tom Clancy's "The Division" scheduled server maintenance on Thursday, Ubisoft has launched an update on Tuesday, Jul. 12 to fix the glitch on G36 assault rifle. As explained by Paul Tassi of Forbes, the rifle was bugged and "wasn't supposed to have the damage values it had."
Fortunately, Ubisoft immediately implemented some changes in Tom Clancy's "The Division" and the G36 assault rifle was nerfed. In fact, it had its base damage reduced by 15 percent, GameSpot reveals.
The July 12 Tom Clancy's "The Division" patch known as the "Client Update" also included other hotfixes for several technical glitches in the game such as the lack of stats for the AlphaBridge Gloves, the recalibration of the Showstopper and PP-19, map's failure to load and Pulse Scan's failure to detect enemies, as per Parent Herald.
