"Scorpion" season 3 is definitely one of the highly anticipated series that is set to premiere this fall. If the previous two seasons showed how Team Scorpion used their logical thinking in solving various problems, the upcoming season will reportedly focus more on how their emotions will interfere with their decisions.
Toby Giving Up His Relationship With Happy?
Fans already knew that Toby suffered a major heartbreak when Happy rejected his marriage proposal. Since "Scorpion" season 3 will delve deeper on the characters' emotional struggles, executive producer Nick Wootton told TVLine that fans will get to see Toby's emotional side as he deals with his rejected proposal.
What's more interesting was Happy's revelation that she's already married to someone else. In the previous season, Toby has been very withdrawn when it comes love and it took him a lot of courage to finally get into a relationship with Happy that's why, it won't be a surprise if the rejection will take a toll on Toby in "Scorpion" season 3, Design & Trend notes.
No Hope For A 'Waige' Romance In 'Scorpion' Season 3
Another most watched love team in "Scorpion" season 3 is the so-called "Waige" couple or Walter and Paige. Fans already know that both have feelings toward each other but they're still having a hard time admitting their feelings, leading to Paige's decision to accept Tim's date invitation in the season 2 finale.
Fortunately, the move made Walter realize that he's ready to act on his feelings toward Paige. While there won't be hearts and flowers in the first episode of "Scorpion" season 3, executive producer Nick Santora confirmed that a "Waige" relationship is a possibility in the upcoming season.
"We can't promise that in the first episode of next season, they're going to be holding hands and running through a valley of golden flowers together," Santora said, as per Vine Report. "But at the same time, the Waige relationship will always be there."
