Five years have passed and Arnold Schwarzenegger and his estranged wife Maria Shriver have still not pushed through with their divorce. Many are asking now if the two will be reconciling romantically since no moves regarding the dissolving of their marriage have been made.
Accordingly, 68-year-old Arnold Schwarzenegger and 60-year-old Shriver ended their relationship back in July of 2011 and have been seeing other people since then. However, they have never finalized anything about their divorce and have never explained anything about the no changes regarding their marital status despite not being together for years now.
Sources claim that neither of the two are interested in ending their marriage and wants it to continued that way. Many are intrigued by their decision since Arnold Schwarzenegger has been dating Heather Milligan for years now while Shriver has been dating Matthew Dowd, Hollywood Life reported
Others speculated that Shriver is too religious that is why she does not want to move on with the divorce but Arnold Schwarzenegger is willing if she would want to. Others are speculating that somewhere down the road, the two will want to be together again that is why they are playing safe with the divorce procedures. They are yet to comment on the latest reports.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver have decided to go their separate ways back in May of 2011 after it has surfaced that the actor has fathered a love child with their former housekeeper. The child was identified as now-19-year-old Joseph and his mother is Mildred Baena. The "Terminator" actor never knew about his love child until seven to eight years after he was born.
Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger have been married for 25 years and had four children together. They are 26-year-old Katherine, 24-year-old Christina, 22-year-old Patrick and 18-year-old Christopher. It seems that they have been civil and friendly since they never had issues about custody over their four children. They also recently got together during their youngest son's birthday last month.
The couple also did not sign any prenuptial agreement before getting married. Since their split, they have divided their properties and estimated $400 million fortune.
