"Iron Man 4" release date updates continue to surface online despite Marvel keeping mum about its real status. To somehow take the fans' minds off the 4th installment, new reports confirmed that something is cooking in the comic book realm.
As iO9 reported, fans should definitely give "Iron Man 4" rumors a rest since a new Marvel character will wear the Iron Man suit in the "Marvel NOW!" line-up. As the site confirmed, supervillain Dr. Doom will get his shot in donning the popular suit that was remade in his own image.
Artist Alex Maleev recently shared some of the designs on his Twitter account. The illustrations gave a glimpse of what the new "Iron Man" suit will look like on Von Doom.
Meanwhile, previous "Iron Man 4" reports claimed that fans might see a different Tony Stark should the rumored new movie get the green light. As Vine Report mentioned, the comic version is gearing up to pass the suit to 15-year-old African American genius Riri Williams. Although it has not been confirmed whether this storyline will make it to the big screens, fans have started to speculate that it can eventually be used in the MCU later on.
"Iron Man 4" release date updates are hinting on the possibility of a 2020 launch, and could possibly be shown after "Avengers: Infinity War." However, Vine Report noted that despite the MCU timeline, Marvel can still opt to make "Iron Man 4" into a sort of a prequel following the events of "Captain America: Civil War."
