Avid "ANTM" fans are definitely excited for the upcoming premiere of "America's Next Top Model" Cycle 23. Despite the fact that VH1 has yet to announce its official air date, a recent report hinted that filming for the upcoming season has already begun.
After The CW network cancelled "America's Next Top Model" last year, many fans hoped and demanded for the show to return. Fortunately, VH1 took the demand seriously and announced earlier this year that "America's Next Top Model" will make a grand television comeback with its Cycle 23 and a brand new host on the network.
'America's Next Top Model' Cycle 23 Begins Filming In New York
"America's Next Top Model' Cycle 23 host Rita Ora was recently spotted in New York as she prepares for the "fierce-a-field rebirth" of Tyra Banks' hit modelling competition reality show. According to Hall of Fame magazine, the 25-year-old British singer-actress explored the streets of the Big Apple in fashion-forward ensembles.
In addition, the new "America's Next Top Model" Cycle 23 host was also seen sporting a "black low-cut sheer jumpsuit" during one of her outing around the city, Daily Mirror notes. Her New York trip was reportedly due to the beginning of the production for "ANTM" Cycle 23.
Tyra Banks Supports Rita Ora As The New 'America's Next Top Model' Host
Despite the speculations that Tyra Banks was against the idea that Rita Ora will be replacing her as the host for "America's Next Top Model" Cycle 23, Banks admitted that she totally loved the "Body On Me" songstress as the new host. In fact, Banks even gave Ora her approval to host the show, Parent Herald previously reported.
"Rita and I spoke today. I love her," Banks told Entertainment Tonight. "She was like, 'Tyra, I don't want to fill your shoes, I want to create my own shoes.' So I was like, 'I got you boo.' She was like, 'I just want some advice and some help.' So I'm going to have a session with her in person. I'm going to give her the ins and the outs, but make it you. Do you. She's gotta make it her's."
