Tom Clancy’s ‘The Division’ Latest News & Updates: Ubisoft Launches Server Maintenance To Fix DeadEye Bug Ahead Of ‘Underground’ DLC August Release On PS4

Tom Clancy's "The Division" is no stranger to technical glitches, bugs and exploits. In fact, Ubisoft's most successful game title this 2016 has been a common target of criticisms due to the structural issues in the game but "The Division" game developer has been trying its best for the game's improvement.

Ubisoft recently announced the "exclusive supply chest drops" outside the Tom Clancy's "The Division" Dark Zone that occurred on Jul. 15 was not a glitch. Instead, its Ubisoft's token of thanks for the "loyalty, commitment and patience" of the gamers to the game, particularly Season Pass owners, as Parent Herald previously reported.

Tom Clancy's 'The Division' DeadEye Bug Fix

As Ubisoft launched its latest server maintenance in Tom Clancy's "The Division" this Friday, Jul. 22, the glitch where gamers pile way "too much damage on the critical-boosting DeadEye armor set" will reportedly get fixed, SegmentNext reveals. However, the headshot damage will remain.

"Fixed an issue that allowed players to benefit from the DeadEye 4 set bonus while retaining their headshot damage," Ubisoft said in a statement, as per GamePur. "This fix also resolves the issue where players were able to stack bonus headshot damage indefinitely."

Aside from the DeadEye bug, Ubisoft Massive's community manager Hamish Bode said the latest Tom Clancy's "The Division" server maintenance also deployed bug fixes for blue quality Division Tech in the +231 Gear Score Dark Zone bracket. In addition, the server maintenance also fixed the AlphaBridge gear set gloves that rolled double primary stats following recalibration and the Tatiana Atkins Missing Persons mission glitches that allowed players to inexplicably teleport to the safe houses, Gaming Bolt reports.
