"Rick and Morty" Season 3 return date may be in late 2016. In an interview with co-creator Dan Harmon, he revealed during the Magic City Comic Con 2016 that their target date for the release of the upcoming season is around the end of the year.

"I think Season 3 is - we're targeting around the end of this year," he said.

This seemingly puts to rest all "Rick and Morty" Season 3 air date and release date rumors stating that the Adult Swim series will air in July or August. Harmon also shared in previous interviews that they are still in the middle of production for the upcoming season and fans and viewers will have to wait longer for the show's return.
