"Outlander" Season 3 spoilers tease that fans and viewers will have to look forward to a lot of things in the upcoming season of the Starz time traveler drama. In an interview with Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe, the stars revealed that Jamie and Claire's reunion is one of the most exciting scenes next season, according to Yahoo! TV.
Heughan said that in "Outlander" Season 3, fans and viewers will see what happened to Jamie after Claire went through the stones in the Season 2 finale. The question as to how Jamie managed to survive the Battle of Culloden and what he did during the 20 years that they were apart will be addressed in the new season.
"I think that's the joy of the show, it's never the same thing," teased Heughan. "It's constantly moving, so next season should be quite an adventure."
"Outlander" Season 3 is based on Diana Gabaldon's third book "Voyager," which means that viewers will see quite a lot of sailing next season. Vulture also notes that the upcoming season will see Jamie and Claire and who they have become without each other.
"It's less about his appearance and more about who he is without Claire," he added.
Heughan also teased that "Outlander" Season 3 will be a "completely different show." New characters are expected to be introduced in the story and Jamie and Claire will also experience new challenges and difficulties.
