Fans of "Limitless" do not want to give up on Season 2 just yet. With petitions left and right, would CBS or Netflix give in?
Why CBS Gave Up on 'Limitless' Season 2
Even with its 11 million viewers who invested most of their time knowing what would happen to the 22 episodes in the first season, CBS felt that "Limitless" Season 2 is nowhere to go. According to Cinema Blend, "Limitless" had an 18-40 solid numbers which could have indicated a bright future for "Limitless"
Disappointed viewers who have invested watching "Limitless" may just be satisfied in watching its re-run on Netflix. Reports have indicated that before the cancellation of "Limitless," CBS was in talked with Amazon and Netflix so that "Limitless" Season 2 can still be possible.
However, Amazon did not want anything to do with "Limitless" Season 2 while Netflix only provided airing the first season of "Limitless." Avid viewers still do not want to give up on the show as they feel that Netflix could be the saving grace may give the show a second season.
Netflix though is still in the process of reviewing its potential shows according to its latest Netflix press event last July 27. Ted Sarandos announced some of the shows that Netflix will return although the chief of Netflix did not provide any information yet on a possible "Limitless" Season 2.
'Limitless' Cast Gave Up on Season 2?
Now that there is no guarantee for a possible "Limitless" Season 2, the cast of the show have recently moved on to do other new projects. Movie News Guide reported that lead actor McDorman will be busy with a new movie with comedian and actor Paul Rull, Jennifer Carpenter just recently got married, and Hill Harper will be busy with his new reality TV show, "Braxton Family Values."
But although the cast may have new projects that they are doing now, if CBS or Netflix give "Limitless" a second shot, the whole cast may eventually come back. For now, fans of the show could relieve the glorious 22 episodes of Season 1 and probably find out what eventually happened to the demise of the show.
