It has been a controversial few days for a member of the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 Cast, to say the least. Tyler Posey, who plays Scott on the show, will not be able to summon his werewolf powers to fix this one, though.
In the latest "Teen Wolf" Season 6 Cast update, Posey has apologizes profusely for allegedly gay-baiting and doing a fake coming out, Entertainment Weekly reported. On Friday, the former Maid in Manhattan actor posted a Snapchat video of him yelling "This is me. I am this and this is me. I've never felt more alive. I am gay." The move earned a variety of reactions from fans, most of it criticism for joking what for others is a sensitive matter. Does this mean that the producers are angry with him for coming out? With his apology, it looks like they were not but they might have feared it might alienate the show's LGBT fans.
"I am a big proponent of love over hate, and standing together during divisive times," the lead of "Teen Wolf" Season 6 Cast wrote in a series of tweets. "Although I'm not gay, I fully support the LGBTQ community. This was a moment intended to reflect that. And everyone, I am truly sorry to the people I've offended or lessened how big coming out is. I just want to spread love in this world."
In other "Teen Wolf" Season 6 Cast news, in an interview with Whedonopolis Videos, Dylan Sprayberry, who plays Liam on the show, has teased that there will be more romance between his character and Hayden (Victoria Moroles). "Layden is great," Sprayberry said. "Liam and Hayden are doing very well."
