DeMarcus Cousins has been one of the hot topics on NBA trade rumors and the latest reports claim that Los Angeles Lakers might not be the only NBA team interested on the Sacramento Kings Player. Rumors has it that Chicago Bulls wants Cousins to join their team so they could establish their own "super team" while Houston Rockets is also interested on the player.
Rumors have swirled that Cousins is on his way to Chicago Bulls to join his former teammate Rajon Rondo. Accordingly, Cousins will be part of the super team that Chicago Bulls has established. They have recently acquired Robin Lopez, Jose Calderon, and Jerian Grant in exchange for Derrick Rose and Justin Holiday. They also acquired Rondo as the replacement of Rose. Dwayne Wade also joined Chicago Bulls after leaving the Miami Heat.
Chicago Bulls also has their star player Jimmy Butler and the offseason trades they made just made fans believe all the more that they want to build a team around their star player. However, despite the recent trades made, their roster might still come up short when going against the reigning Eastern Conference champions, Cleveland Cavaliers, Sportsrageous reported.
Cousins is reportedly very upset over Sacramento Kings' NBA draft night wherein they traded the 8th overall pick to Phoenix Suns for a package that included the 13th and 28th picks. The Sacramento Kings also recently selected Georgios Papagiannis and Skal Labissiere. This might be enough reason for Cousins to leave Sacramento Kings and join other NBA teams such as Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, and Houston Rockets.
Due to this, many are saying that Sacramento Kings might miss the playoffs for another year and they have no young players to train. If and when the reports about the Chicago Bulls trading their players for Cousins are true, it might work for both teams since Chicago Bulls have a lot of young players such as Bobby Portis, Denzel Valentine, Doug McDermott, Jerian Grant, and Nikola Mirotic.
As for Houston Rockets being interested on acquiring Cousins, they are reportedly planning to trade Corey Brewer, K.J. McDaniels, Sam Dekker, or Clint Capela.
Despite the many trade reports surrounding Cousins, Sacramento Kings have expressed that they have no plans trading him for other players from other NBA teams.
