"Black Mirror" Season 3 will be arriving sooner than we think and after Netflix confirmed that it will have sole broadcasting rights for the show, it has also announced the release date of the new season. Furthermore, it seems someone from Westeros is jumping ship to the science fiction series.
In the latest in "Black Mirror" Season 3 news, "Game of Thrones" actor Jerome Flynn has been announced to be headlining one of the episodes of the tech-thriller anthology series, Digital Spy reported. Flynn, who plays Bronn on the medieval fantasy series, is the latest addition to the "Black Mirror" Season 3 cast, which already has Alice Eve, Bryce Dallas Howard, Malachi Kirby, Kelly MacDonald, Madeline Brewer, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Alex Lawther on the casting sheet. Will Bronn leave "Game of Thrones" because of this? Not really as he will only be doing one episode.
In other "Black Mirror" Season 3 updates, Netflix has announced that it ordered a total of 12 episodes for the new season, Entertainment Weekly reported. The six other episodes will start streaming on the service next year.
"Black Mirror" Season 3 was saved from cancellation in its home channel of Channel 4 after Netflix brought it to the United States to be adapted for a worldwide audience. Now well-known filmmakers like Joe Wright ("Atonement," "Pride and Prejudice") and Dan Trachtenberg ("10 Cloverfield Lane") have been booked to direct episodes, raising excitement for the series even further.
The first six episodes of "Black Mirror" Season 3 will be released on Netflix starting Friday, October 21.
