The open-world exploration game, "No Man's Sky," from Hello Games, allows users to discover thousands of new planets, meet extra-terrestrial life, learn new alien languages, harvest precious minerals, battle robot sentinels, and lay siege to almost anything players could lay their eyes on.
In this great, big, expansive universe that is "No Man's Sky", traveling it could seem a bit lonely and, not to mention, dangerous. The game is so expansive that according to a gaming review from Business Insider, players can discover a million planets every hour. Luckily, players have their trusty "Starship" to accompany them throughout the entire journey.
In "No Man's Sky" there are three types of "Starships" that players could choose from, and thanks to Gamepedia, we have come up with a quick and easy guide to help users select the right "Starship," that suits their playing style.
There are different ways to acquire a "Starship" in "No Man's Sky", other than the one that players have in the beginning of the game, the game allows you to purchase a new one, or players could also repair broken ships, abandoned in some planets.
Now, the first type of ship is called, the "Explorer". These ships are made for traveling the galaxy, the other two types of ships may also be used for exploration, but the "Explorer" has features that make it perfect for navigating through the different planets. "Explorers" boast better engines and has a better hyperdrive for the purpose of traveling faster and further into the center of the universe of "No Man's Sky". It also has a great stealth capability for sneaking past enemies.
If battles and destruction suits more to the player's style then the "Fighter" is the "Starship" to choose. There are plenty of enemies for players to face in "No Man's Sky", from sentinels to aliens, and having some good firepower will go a long way. "Fighter" ships have bigger guns and better defenses, they also feature a light and symmetrical body, for maneuvering through enemy fire.
The last ship is for the "No Man's Sky" entrepreneur, called the "Trader". The "Trader", judging from its name is made, for well, trading. It features a larger cargo capacity for storing minerals, and heavy weaponry to protect your precious cargo from looters. The "Trader" is a bit slower compared to other ships due to its large size.
Choose the right ship for you, and conquer the entire "No Man's Sky" universe.
