The first step when transferring a "Pokemon Go" account to a new iPhone, is to make sure that players remember their Google or Pokemon Trainer Club account, that they used to sign up for the game. Players can see the account name when signing out by simply tapping the "PokeBall" icon, head to Settings, and the account name will be beside the Sign Out bar.
Once players have confirmed their account name, they may now log in on their new iPhone. After downloading the "Pokemon Go" app, players will only have to log in using the Google or Pokemon Trainer Club account name, and all of their "Pokemon Go" progress will be there, in tact.
If "Pokemon Go" players decide to get the new iPhone 7, which will be released on September 7, according to Bloomberg, they can easily transfer all of their "Pokemon Go" data, without worrying of having to start all over again.
