NBA trade rumors are still among the favorites today. According to reports, Los Angeles Lakers is planning to trade its shooting guard Nick Young and power forward Julius Randle to acquire Denver Nuggets Gary Harris and Kenneth Faried.
For those following Los Angeles Lakers, you would probably agree that the team is currently composed of young talents. Lakers lack veterans. In fact, Silver Screen and Roll predicted that the team will be the third-worst in the NBA league and the worst in the Western Conference. This prediction happened after Kobe Bryant's retirement.
To strengthen their roster, Centrio Times reported that the team is willing to give up Nick Young and Julius Randle on a trading block to acquire Nugget's power forward Kenneth Faried and shooting guard Gary Harris.
Per the report, Los Angeles Lakers did not like the viral video of Nick Young confessing about dating other women while he was still committed to his now ex-girlfriend Iggy Azalea. The said viral video has caused breached in their team involving rookie D'Angelo Russell.
The report suggests that a Nuggets-Lakers trade will benefit both teams. Nick Young and Julius Randle are expected to learn a lot of things from Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone.
Meanwhile, Faried and Harris are expected to strengthen the Lakers grip for their next NBA title, following Kobe Bryant's retirement. Faried and Harris are expected to improve Los Angeles' first and second units.
However, we should still take this report with a grain of salt until Nuggets and Lakers confirmed the trade. Parent Herald previously reported that Luke Walton believed that D'Angelo Russell and Julius Randle are the potential leaders for Lakers in the upcoming NBA league. If Walton sees Julius Randle's potential it does not make sense to trade him.
