ESPN reported that LeBron James has finally signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The three-time NBA champion agreed to stay with the Cavs for another three years under a $100 million contract.
Per Rolling Stone, LeBron James surpassed Michael Jordan as the highest-paid player in a single season in 2017-18 when his pay exceeds $33 million. Prior to that, he will receive $31 million salary and Boston Herald added that James' 2018-19 option will be worth $36 million, which total to a whooping $100 million deal.
With LeBron James current deal with Cleveland Cavaliers, chances are slim to see James and Dwayne Wade's reunion in Chicago Bulls. Parent Herald previously reported that LeBron James will join Wade and play for Bulls in 2017.
Sam Smith, a veteran Chicago sportswriter wrote that LeBron James will be a free agent after the next NBA season. Since James has already delivered Cavs its first NBA title, by then James will be free to reunite with Wade in Chicago where the pair could have gone in 2010.
