There have been rumors that an Adele new album is coming as the British superstar continues her worldwide trek in the Adele Live 2016 tour. The Adele new album, however, is said to not take the form her fans are expecting as she will allegedly be doing the project with another major star.
The Adele new album is said to be a duet record with fellow singer Barbara Streisand, the Gay Times UK reported. The bosses at Columbia Records, where the two singers are signed, are excited to capitalize on the same kind of generational unity that paved the way for the success of "Cheek to Cheek," the duet album of Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett a few years ago.
The singers are believed to have met to discuss the Adele new album and it seems both have decided to do the collaboration. A small promotional concert tour is also said to be in the works for the Adele new album.
In other Adele new album news, according to Out, country music icon Dolly Parton has suggested that she and Adele should collaborate on a song soon. Parton, who is always updated with the current pop scene, has confessed to be a fan of the British native. In fact, she wrote a song for her 43rd album that calls Adele out by name. "I put on my tight dress, hair piled on my head, painting my lips red and my eyes like Adele!"
