"Rocko's Modern Life" is one of the most extraordinary cartoons in the 90's era, the curtain is rolled up and the Rocko is back with a new show. Director and Producer Joe Murray confirmed that "Rocko's Modern Life" will be shown on TV once again.
"Rocko's Modern Life" is set for a one hour movie show. The Digital Spy reported that the upcoming movie will be shown on TV and will serve as a special presentation for Nickelodeon's 25th Anniversary. Though "Rocko's Modern Life's" new show has been confirmed and will feature a new story, Nickolodeon give any details about the exact date or schedule it will be aired according to the Business Wire.
"Rocko's Modern Life" features a silly character named Rocko as he lives in O-Town with Spunky the dog. The story is about Rocko's prosaic life, his job in a comic book store his struggles against his from neighbor Mr. Bighead. Rocko is accompanied by his stupid yet loyal friend Heffer together with his turtle friend Filburt.
With Joe Murray as the creator, producer and one of the directors, Nickelodeon created "Rocko's Modern Life" and was first aired on Nickelodeon's own network. "Rocko's Modern Life" officially runs for more than four years with 4 seasons with 13 episodes each. After the last episode on November 1996, "Rocko's Modern Life" came back in 2004 and was featured by U-Pick Live for a one week show with selected episodes, then the Rocko was last seen on March 1, 2013 during the Nickelodeon's revival block.
Joe Murray said that he is very excited to revive his beloved creation in our current time. Murray also stated that he can't wait to see Rocko living in the 21st century and wants to know how Rocko and his friends approach the modern times of the 2000 era.
