Using Lucky Eggs, a consumable item in "Pokémon GO," will greatly help trainers as they progress through the game. Trainers will be rewarded with Lucky Eggs after reaching level nine in the game.
Players will be able to gain twice the amount of experience from specific actions they performed for 30 minutes with the Lucky Eggs activated. Those precious 30 minutes should be spent wisely by every "Pokémon GO" trainer so they can maximize the Lucky Eggs' effect.
Like the Incense, a timer starts ticking after activating the Lucky Egg. Keep in mind, however, that the timer will run even though you are not playing the game.
To maximize the effects of Lucky Eggs, MobiPicker advised "Pokémon GO" trainers to have numerous items at their disposal. This includes plenty of PokéBalls, multiple Pokémon prepared for evolution, clusters of Stardust, and Incense.
Installing Lure Modules or activating an Incense in PokéStops while the Lucky Eggs are activated is even better. Some actions that provide trainers with huge experience points while using Lucky Eggs are: catching Pokémon, visiting PokeStops, and powering up or evolving the Pokémon you captured. Having one or two egg incubators that are almost hatching will also give you great XP, according to IGN.
Lucky Eggs will give 200 experience points to trainers whenever they catch a Pokémon, 1200 XP for every Pokémon caught for the first time, 1000 XP for a Pokémon evolution, and 2000 XP whenever a Pokémon evolves into a stage that isn't listed on the Pokedex yet, Heavy listed. The most tenacious players can achieve 60 evolutions for 30 minutes that a Lucky Egg is activated.
Accomplishing 60 evolutions will give a whopping 60,000 experience points to trainers -- and that's just with one Lucky Egg. So if you're tired catching common Pokémon such as Pidgey, Rattata, Zubat, Magikarp, and Diglett, carrying a Lucky Egg will definitely improve your "Pokémon GO" performance and help you capitalize on it. In addition, it's good to catch these common Pokémon because they don't require lots of Candy to evolve.
"Pokémon GO" players can also buy Lucky Eggs in the Shop using PokeCoins. One Lucky Egg can be purchased for 80 PokeCoins ($0.99), eight Lucky Eggs for 500 PokeCoins ($4.99), and 25 Lucky Eggs for 1,250 PokeCoins ($9.99).
