Hit original Netflix series "BoJack Horseman" may shift optimistic after the anthropomorphic lead character by Will Arnett with support from co-stars Aaron Paul (Todd Chavez), Alison Brie (Diane Nguyen) and Amy Sedaris (Princess Carolyn) hit rock bottom in Season 3. Would a hopeful "BoJack Horseman" Season 4 fly?
A.V. Club asked the question if happiness will ever cross paths with BoJack Horseman. The media outlet cites a scene in the "BoJack Horseman" Season 3 finale, which proposes that the Netflix star may have reached a turning point in life.

The "BoJack Horseman" Season 3 finale scene had BoJack Horseman looking out into the desert to see a wild horse herd running. The media outlet points out that this "BoJack Horseman" Season 3 moment may mean that the Netflix star has finally realized that the only way to go is forward.
i don’t do the whole love thing. either you end up hurting someone or they hurt you, so what’s the point? — BoJack Horseman (@BoJackHorseman) August 16, 2016
This aligns with what Will Arnett stated in a Vulture interview on "BoJack Horseman." According to Will Arnett, even though BoJack Horseman is highly self-absorbed and almost has a tunnel vision on self-destruction, the Netflix series character is not irredeemable.

Unlike classic narcissists, Will Arnett points to the growing awareness that BoJack Horseman is developing. As "BoJack Horseman" Season 3 shows, the Netflix star sees more and more the harm he does to others even while he sabotages his own self.
One wonders if "BoJack Horseman" Season 4 will fly without the trademark tone of satire and despair that the Netflix character became known for. Still "BoJack Horseman" fans are familiar with the style of creator and executive producer Raphael Bob-Waksberg enough by now that the Netflix star is not about to turn into Pollyanna.
However, seeing "BoJack Horseman" Season 4 organically develop the Netflix character into a believable evolution would make for an interesting watch. Netflix is set to announce a 2017 "BoJack Horseman" Season 4 release date.
