Bandai Namco has just announced that they will be launching the first ever "Dark Souls III" DLC. The developer Bandai Namco posted a teaser image over their social media account.
"Dark Souls III" was released last March 24th, and after a few months they are now launching its first DLC. The said initial announcement was made on a post on Twitter along with a teaser image. Gamespot reported that Bandai Namco previously announced that the "Dark Souls III" will have its first DLC this Fall, and now they already have a specific day of the release.
"Dark Souls III" will launch this coming August 24th and will be available on Playstation 4, XBox One and PC. The new Downloadable Content will be available for the "Dark Souls III" $25 Season Pass owners who and for those you don't have one, the purchase price will be announced before the release date of the "Dark Souls III" DLC.
There was also a report made by FextraLife, that "Dark Souls III" merchandise might come along the way as the Gamescom has just started. Without confirmation from Bandai Namco and Team "Dark Souls III".
"Dark Souls III" was rated a high 9 out of 10 with an outstanding %89 by Metacritic. Since its release, "Dark Souls III" gathered a lot of players around the world with its unique and customizable gameplay.
During its first 2 weeks in Japan, "Dark Souls III" sold more than 200,000 copies of the Playstation 4 version alone, though the XBox sales was not announced speculations spread that "Dark Souls III" might already sold more than 500,000 combined sales.
The upcoming "Dark Souls III" DLC will include new maps, new weapons, new skills and as expected, additional quests that will put the players in their backseat for additional hours of play time.
