Balfe admitted that she, like most fans of Diana Gabaldon's third book, is most excited to see Jamie and Claire's reunion at the print-shop after 20 years in "Outlander" Season 3. As most can recall, Jamie and Claire decided to part ways when they realized that they could not stop Battle of Culloden from happening.
Balfe teased that tragedy and romance will be the core of "Outlander" Season 3, as Claire and Jamie will have to fall in love with each other again. Balfe said that both Jamie and Claire have changed over the 20 years they were apart, so they would need to get to know each other again.
Aside from this reunion between Jamie and Claire, many fans are also anticipating for the "Outlander" Season 3 casting on Lord John Grey. According to TVLine, his character is one of the fans' favorite characters from Gabaldon's "Voyager."
Even Heughan previously admitted on Twitter that he is most excited to meet Lord John Grey in "Outlander" Season 3. Those who have read the books are well aware that Lord John Grey will play an important role next season.
Lord John Grey is also a closeted gay man who has feelings for Jamie. There are speculations that he and Jamie will share a kissing scene in "Outlander" Season 3, but that remains unconfirmed as of writing.
