'The Originals' Season 4 Release Date, News & Update: Joseph Morgan Says Klaus Mikaelson Does Not Deserve Happiness? Phoebe Tonkin's Hayley Marshall Wants A Family?
"The Originals" Season 4 by The CW will follow a highly emotional S3 finale and all eyes are on unlikely hero Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) and unwitting savior Hayley Marshall (Phoebe Tonkin). With Klaus Mikaelson a prisoner in the dungeon of Marcel Gerard (Charles Michael Davis) and Hayley Marshall holding custody of comatose Mikaelsons, "The Originals" Season 4 premiere sets a pretty steep challenge right off the bat.
Showbiz Junkies cites Joseph Morgan in revealing that Klaus Mikaelson will be a dangerous prisoner in Michael Gerard's dungeon, waiting for a chance to break out at "The Originals" Season 4 premiere. Marcel Gerard may believe he has the upper hand, but Klaus Mikaelson will not stay down for long.
Among other things, Klaus Mikaelson is angry for missing five years in the life of his daughter Hope (Summer Fontana) after his exile in "The Originals" Season 3 finale. The series lead is not only angry over Hope but also over the death of Cami and, interestingly, "The Originals" fans will sense something different about Klaus Mikaelson in S4.
For one, Jospeh Morgan promises that the Klaus Mikaelson of "The Originals" Season 4 will reveal how dangerous he can really be. Speaking of almost finding love with Cami O'Connell (Leah Pipes) in "The Originals" Season 3, Joseph Campbell said it's only fitting that Klaus Mikaelson lost the love of his life.
"For me personally, I'm not sure that Klaus deserves happiness and love yet, so I feel like that's perhaps a good thing," Joseph Morgan revealed. "Also I feel like in order for us to maintain the level of drama there needs to be tragedy in the show, and so naturally the characters that we feel the most for - and that our characters feel the most for - are killed off and taken away."
Aboveground from the dungeon, Phoebe Tonkin finds that her dream - in a strange way - has come true through "The Originals" Season 3 finale. Just Jared reports that according to Phoebe Tonkin, the one thing Hayley Marshall longed for is to have a family and "The Originals" Season 4 will see her with one.
For one, Phoebe Tonkin says that Hayley Marshall and Hope will exhibit a bond they presumably developed during the five-year time jump that precedes "The Originals" Season 4. Also Hayley Marshall remains in custody of the unconscious and dying bodies of Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic), Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Freya Mikaelson (Riley Voelkel), which in a way, forms her extended family in "The Originals" Season 4.
According to Phoebe Tonkin, "The Originals" Season 4 will reveal that for the first time Hayley Marshall does not feel alone. More than that "The Originals" Season 4 will find Hayley Marshall revelling in her purpose of saving her family.
