Cleveland Cavaliers Trade Rumors: DeMarcus Cousins One Of Centers Being Considered By Cavaliers? Kevin Love Set To Be Traded To Sacramento Kings?

Nerlens Noel is reportedly being considered by the Cleveland Cavaliers for their center but DeMarcus Cousins of Sacramento Kings is also one of the names swirling regarding the trade rumors. Despite being champions in the 2015-2016 NBA season, Cleveland Cavaliers is reportedly looking to improve their roster for the 2016-2017 NBA season.

This is not the first time that Cousins' name was linked to Cleveland Cavaliers especially after he has shown a great play during the 2016 Rio Olympics for the U.S. basket all team. Cleveland Cavaliers is reportedly trying to improve their roster due to the fact that the Golden State Warriors is rumored to have formed a super team during the offseason.

In a report by Morning News USA, the Cleveland Cavaliers could convince the Sacramento Kings to listen to their offer for Cousins in exchange for Kevin Love. Love has been the most talked about Cleveland Cavaliers player to be traded to other NBA teams as they need to have a powerful center.

Sacramento Kings might have no other choice than to let go of Cousins as he has been sounding off regarding the possibility that he wants to be out of the team. He reportedly reacted negatively during the draft picks this offseason. If Sacramento Kings will acquire Love, it is still a win for the team since the power forward is a great player. He averaged 16.9 points and 9.9 rebounds during the last NBA season. However, Love reportedly does not fit well with the Cleveland Cavaliers playing alongside Kyrie Irving and LeBron James.

If the trade will happen, Yibada reported that since Love is paid more than Cousins, they would have to send more players to Cleveland Cavaliers such as Ben McLemore and Kosta Koufus.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, on the other hand, might also send their first round picks in 2020 and 2022 to Sacramento Kings.
