‘Pokémon GO’ Best Tips & Tricks To Successfully Hatch Eggs Without Actually Walking

Hatching Eggs in "Pokémon GO" requires the use of incubators and walking outside for hours to cover two, five, or 10 kilometers. The farther the distance of the Egg the rarer the Pokémon you will get once it hatches.

Some "Pokémon GO" trainers, however, don't have time out of their daily schedules to walk for hours so they resort to other solutions. Those solutions are technically cheating, but it's still an opportunity to advance in the game.

According to CNET, one tip you can try to hatch your Eggs without doing any walking at all is to ride a city bus while keeping "Pokémon GO" open in your device. The game's GPS system, however, will stop working and the incubator count won't register a player's distance if he/she is moving too fast.

CNET recommended players to stay below 10 to 15 miles or 16 to 24 kilometers per hour so the incubator counter will continue working. Perhaps it's safer to ride a bike instead of a car or a bus to make sure that you're not going too fast.

Niantic is developing ways to prevent players from attempting loop-holes in "Pokémon GO." If you go too fast a notification will appear on your device asking if you're a passenger. This is to confirm that you are not driving while playing the game.

Another tip is to place your phone on a record player or a Roomba, or tape it to a ceiling fan or a drone to cover the distance required by the Eggs. Taping your phone to a ceiling fan or a drone, however, is really unsafe and there's a huge chance that you'd end up with a broken phone instead. So be careful when trying this trick.

If you try these tricks and your Eggs still don't hatch, you might be having "Pokémon GO" server problems. Make sure that while you're walking around racking up distances that the white PokéBall isn't spinning on the screen's left-hand corner. A spinning white PokéBall means that the game is loading or it's encountering some problems.

If you're seeing the spinning PokéBall you should stop walking, close "Pokémon GO," and restart it. Continue your quest if the spinning PokéBall has disappeared.

You should also make sure that your device's screen is on while you're walking to cover distances. If the screen shuts off your mileage will not be registered in the game.
