NBA Rumors: Is Kenneth Faried Leaving Denver Nuggets? Joining Jeremy Lin, Brook Lopez In Brooklyn Nets?

Denver Nuggets is reportedly looking to rebuild their roster and to make that successful, rumor has it that the NBA team has played Kenneth Faried on the trading block. Accordingly, Faried is set to join Brook Lopez and Jeremy Lin in the Brooklyn Nets.

Faried will be a great additional to Brooklyn Nets as he could form a power trio with Lopez and point guard Lin. It remains unclear, however, how Brooklyn Nets will be able to acquire Faried if the trade will take place. It is unknown who will Brooklyn Nets willingly trade in order to get the power forward from Denver Nuggets, Sportsrageous reported.

Brooklyn Nets really need to have Faried as they are short of big men, especially with their power forward position. Having Faried means him tag-teaming with Lopez will make them one of the best big men combinations for the frontcourt positions. This could also make Brooklyn Nets a big threat in the Eastern Conference. Brooklyn Nets will also be able to afford Faried's price as his contract is at a friendly price.

However, a problem for Denver Nuggets is that Brooklyn Nets cannot make any ideal trade from their team as their roster is not that great. Brooklyn Nets' first round picks is also not an option as they owe Boston Celtics their first round pick in the 2017 draft. They could offer their 2020 first rounder to Denver if they have no other choice so that they could acquire Faried.

Another player that is in the radar of Denver Nuggets is said to be Blake Griffin. Yibada reported that Los Angeles Clippers might be traded to Denver Nuggets so that the latter team could have an offensive threat.

If Faried and Griffin are compared, Griffin has more points made in his career. His average is 21.5 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. As for Faried, he averages 12.5 points and 8.7 rebounds per game.
