It's no secret that work on "Blindspot" is physically demanding for its star, Jaimie Alexander. Time and again, she has to figure in action sequences and the latest one actually resulted in a broken nose. But aside from the physical demands on "Blindspot" the actress hinted the second season will be a "massive emotional roller coaster" as well. Where is "Blindspot" Season 2 headed and what can viewers expect?
Jaimie Alexander (Jane Doe) talked with Entertainment Online and said that there will be plenty of new faces in "Blindspot" Season 2. These people were brought in to "help clarify who Jane Doe is," the actress said.
Fans should also prepare as Jaimie Alexander promises that the upcoming season "is going to send you on a massive emotional roller coaster," suggesting there could be unexpected twists. Co-star Sullivan Stapleton (Kurt Weller) also dishes that there will be lots of action. The cast of "Blindspot" is already in the middle of filming for Season 2.
However, work seems to have gotten pretty tough on the set as Jaimie Alexander recently suffered a broken nose while shooting a fight scene on "Blindspot" Season 2. This didn't stop the actress though as filming proceeded despite the injury. With some ice pack and makeup, Jaimie Alexander finished her scenes and she was also back on the set the next day, per Daily Mail.
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly gave a first look on "Blindspot's" latest addition, Luke Mitchell. Playing Roman from Jane's past life, the character was actually hinted in the first season of the series. Roman is described as unpredictable and "very, very, very protective of Jane," per the report.
"Blindspot" Season 2 will be on air by Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. on NBC. The following weeks, it will be airing at 8 p.m. on the same night.
