Unfortunately, the three could not remain on their prime. They aged and retire. San Antonio Spurs just lost Tim Duncan to retirement. There are rumors that Manu Ginobili is in his last two NBA seasons and soon Tony Parker will also hang his jersey for good.
However, according to NBA rumors, San Antonio Spurs is meant to regain its power and glory. The team will be the top contender again in the NBA league as CIeveland Cavaliers small forward Lebron James, Chicago Bulls shooting guard Dwayne Wade, New York Knicks small forward Carmelo Anthony and Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul all unite to join Spurs in 2019.
According to King James Gospel, LeBron James will be a free agent in 2019 or he could join Carmelo Anthony in the free agency a year earlier if both decline their player option in 2018. Meanwhile, James' best pal Dwayne Wade and Chris Paul are also going to be free agents in 2018.
There are rumors that LeBron James is willing to play for San Antonio Spurs after calling its head coach Gregg Popovich his favorite coach. The Cavs' player even teases that he wants to play for Popovich, which triggers the rumors that James might be joining Spurs.
Aaron Ferguson suggested that the four NBA All-Star can join forces and play for San Antonio Spurs to build a super team. Aside from Spurs, Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Kings have the cap space to accommodate all four.
