"Star Wars Rogue One" Darth Vader updates continue to poke the interest of hard-core "Star Wars" fans. While it has been previously disclosed that the supervillain's role in the new Lucasfilm standalone will be very minimal, reports are still firm that his presence will be greatly felt throughout.
Director Gareth Edwards previously dished that the "Star Wars Rogue One" Darth Vader scenes will leave a great impact on audiences, and teased that scenes will suck them in. As previously reported by The Week, the director also shared the process he had to go through to make a unique movie without copying what George Lucas did.
Apart from the "Star Wars Rogue One" Darth Vader scenes, fans are also looking forward to see what the movie's new villain has in store. As fans already know, actor Ben Mendelsohn will be playing Death Star security director Orson Krennic in the movie. Previous reports have suggested that Krennic will somehow be at Vader's mercy, although it has been established that there will be no distinct relationship between the iconic villain and the Death Star safe keeper.
Reports now suggest that Krennic might even meet his end in the new movie. "Star Wars Rogue One" Darth Vader updates hint that the supervillain will kill the director. As CinemaBlend noted, there could be a great possibility that KrennIc might suffer an untimely death in the upcoming flick.
Meanwhile, Edwards also shared the meaning behind the movie's title in a recent interview with The Empire. According to the director, "'Rogue One' is a military call sign to some extent, but this is the first film that's gone off-piste and is not part of the saga - or the Anakin story - so it's the 'rogue' one, you know," he said, as reported by Polygon.
