Many PS4 owners are looking to upgrade their consoles by getting hold of the new PS4 Neo. Information about Sony's new console has been really limited online, but speculations are rife that an October 2016 release date is highly likely.
As far as fans are concerned, they can only guess what the new console's features will be. While some fans have already decided to purchase the PS4 Neo, others are still contemplating whether the upgraded version of the PS4 is worth every cent.
In a Reddit forum, a fan expressed his thoughts about the upcoming PS4 Neo release. While he claimed that the new console sounds promising, some should actually consider waiting for the Xbox Scorpio next year. User rather_be_a_hobbit shared that Microsoft's newest console boasts of more notable improvements than that of Sony's.
Meanwhile, speculations are also rife that the new PS4 Neo will retail for around $399-$499. Sony has yet to confirm the console's price as of writing.
The PS4 Neo will reportedly have some significant upgrades in graphics, as well as 4K video support. Some tech experts believe that the Neo will also boast of an 8-core CPU with 2.1GHz, Value Walk noted.
Apart from the PS4 Neo, gamers are also looking forward for the PS4 Slim, rumored to be released on September 14. Although the Slim won't have any exceptional upgrades other than a thinner look, many are still curious to see whether it will be a good buy.
