"Outlander" Season 3 spoilers reveal that filming is already ongoing for the new season of the Starz drama, which is based on Diana Gabaldon's third book, "Voyager." New set photos have been making rounds online, which showed the events that took place in the Battle of Culloden, revealing a bloodied Jamie on set, reports BBC.

As most fans can recall, Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) tried to stop the Battle of Culloden from happening in the last season of the series. However, as seen in the "Outlander" Season 2 finale, Jamie and Claire were not able to succeed with their plans, which forced Claire to leave and return to the future.

In "Outlander" Season 3, fans and viewers will see Claire and Jamie 20 years after they parted ways. Fans are looking forward to the reunion scene between the couple, which will take place in the iconic print-shop featured in Gabaldon's book.

Meanwhile, showrunner Ron Moore told Radio Times that production for "Outlander" Season 3 is more complex and challenging than the first two seasons of the show. Moore admitted that filming for the upcoming season is a lot like doing a new series.

Those who have read the books are aware that "Outlander" Season 3 will see Jamie and Claire go on a journey through the seas. Moore revealed that the events for the upcoming season will unfold in Scotland and the journey will begin across the Atlantic.
