"Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 is taking Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) on a mission without Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) for the first time. Fox boss admitted that doing "Sleepy Hollow" without Abbie Mills is tough.
According to Digital Spy, Fox president David Madden admitted that doing "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 without Nicole Beharie was a difficult decision. David Madden acknowledged that this is especially so because the tandem of Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills was the backbone of the "Sleepy Hollow" series.
Any plan for "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4, in fact, would have been discontinued without Abbie Mills had the "SH" writers and producers not had the idea of a reboot. "[The producers] came to us, very emotionally, and said 'we think there is a fourth season in the show'," David Madden relayed.
The decision to go on with "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 had been controversial especially among loyal Abbie Mills supporters. As Digital Spy points out, these "Sleepy Hollow" fans were not only invested in Abbie Mills but also in the relationship between Tom Mison's Ichabod Crane and Nicole Beharie's character.
As Parent Herald reports "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 will be a reboot of the series, moving Ichabod Crane from New York To Washington D.C. Not only is Ichabod Crane relocating but will also leave behind all the surviving characters of previous "Sleepy Hollow" seasons.
In Washington D.C., Ichabod Crane will be working with the all-new "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 cast. These include Diana (Janina Gavankar) and Molly (Oona Yaffe).
TVLine reports that executive producer Clifton Campbell revealed Nicole Beharie will pay the occasional visit in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4. Clifton Campbell did not, however, indicate if "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 will see Nicole Beharie as Abbie Mills or as a different character.
The "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 premiere will air on Fox in early 2017. Are you excited to see "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 or do you believe Fox should never have given the series a reboot?
