Tom Clancy’s ‘The Division’ Latest News Updates: Ubisoft To Improve Game By Getting Public Test Server? 1.4 Patch, Early Access Details Revealed

It has been an undeniable fact that Tom Clancy's "The Division" is currently not the best online open world third-person shooter video game today. The reason? The game has been plagued with bugs and glitches, not to mention its poor end-game content, half-baked PvP mode and the repetitive mission routines.

Ever since Tom Clancy's "The Division" was released in March, it quickly became the most popular game with record-breaking sales, leaving other online games in its shadows. Unfortunately, "The Division" fate took a hundred and eighty degrees turn when bugs and technical glitches plagued the game, resulting to several negative feedbacks.

In an effort to get Tom Clancy's "The Division" back on track, Ubisoft announced that the game is getting a public test server prior to the release of the massive 1.4 update. According to PC Gamer, the Public Test Server will be on Windows PC, where Ubisoft will let some chosen players to try an early access of the update before it will be released.

Polygon added that the public test server was Ubisoft's latest strategic plan in order to be more transparent when it comes to the issues and improvements needed in Tom Clancy's "The Division." The announcement also came a week after the game developer confirmed their unwavering determination to fix issues and "lay the foundation" for future PvP and Dark Zone improvements, VG24/7 learned.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft has decided to delay the release of Tom Clancy's "The Division" upcoming DLC to focus more on improving the overall experience of the gamers, GameSpot noted. For the patch notes on "The Division 1.4 update, players and fans can check out Ubisoft's blog post but more changes details will be revealed in a Special Report livestream on Sept. 13.

As for Tom Clancy's "The Division" 1.4 patch release date, the massive update is scheduled to be implemented in October. The game's paid expansions "Survival" and "Last Stand" DLCs, on the other hand, are delayed for a late 2016 and early 2017 releases respectively, as Parent Herald previously reported.
