'Limitless' Season 2 Cast News & Air Date: Bradley Cooper Not Saving Show After All

It looks like fans will not be able to see a "Limitless" season 2 after all. After a rumor spread that recurring cast member and executive producer Bradley Cooper is pulling all the stops for other networks to commit to the development of "Limitless" season 2, it looks like Cooper would not be able to do that as he will be busy with other projects.

According to FX Newscall, Cooper has been meeting up with network executives in the past few weeks to shop around "Limitless" season 2. The show, which serves as a sequel to the film of the same name that Cooper starred in back in 2011, was canceled by CBS despite decent numbers in the ratings game. This was also what happened to fellow CBS show "Supergirl," which was fortunately saved by the CW.

One of the alleged reasons why Bradley Cooper will not be able to dedicate time to "Limitless" season 2 is his upcoming directorial debut. In August, Cooper was confirmed to be directing and starring in the latest remake of the classic film "A Star Is Born," Vanity Fair reported. The movie will also serve as the film debut of Lady Gaga, who will be filling in the role previously played by Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand.

Parent Herald will be posting more news and updates on whether we will see a "Limitless" season 2 as soon as know them. If audiences will indeed have their wish of a "Limitless" season 2 granted, it is not clear whether the cast from the first season will come back for "Limitless" season 2.

Would you watch "Limitless" season 2 if it airs? Should Bradley Cooper do more to save the show? Let Parent Herald know your thoughts via the comments section. Meanwhile, watch the trailer for the first season of "Limitless" in the video below.
