Netflix's original sci-fi horror show "Stranger Things" has become one of the most watched series in 2016. With the next season already in the works, the show's creators recently released the titles for season 2. Here are what the new titles for the new season could possibly mean.
Thanks to Screen Rant, here is a quick analysis of what could happen in each episode for the next season of "Stranger Things." The first episode of season 2 is called "MadMax." With the show introducing a new character named Max, this could be the episode where she makes her debut. It could also be a tribute to the original "Mad Max" movie.
The next episode is called "The Boy Who Came Back To Life." With Will's return, this episode could see him going back to school and back to his normal life. Episode 3 called "The Pumpkin Patch," falls on Halloween, and could place the episode in an actual pumpkin patch, or something that looks like one, like the eggs that Chief Hopper found in the Upside Down of .
Episode 4, called "The Palace," might be a reference to the Dungeons & Dragons game that the boys of the show are fond of playing, while fans are saying that this episode could be about Mike's older sister Nancy who is referred to as "The Proud Princess." The next episode in season 3 of "Stranger Things," called "The Storm," might be the season's first bottle episode, where the characters are all trapped in one place, due to an actual storm, or it might have something to do with the Upside Down.
"The Pollywog," the title for episode 6 of "Stranger Things", could be about the creature, or one of the creatures, that Will spat out in the last episode of season. Episode 7 is entitled "The Secret Cabin," which could refer to a location that fans are already familiar with, like the Byers' shed, or Castle Byers, or it could be a brand new hideout for the characters.
Episode 8 entitled "The Brain," points to Hawkins Lab, where Dr. Brennan directs experiments on people, which results to getting abilities like Eleven's telekinesis, or it could be about Eleven's mother who was experimented on.
The season finale of "Stranger Things" is called "The Lost Brother." The "lost brother" could very well mean Will Byers, who might have brought something back from the Upside Down, or it could also mean his older brother Jonathan. Another theory about the episode could also be about one of the previous experiment victims from Hawkins Lab.
According to The Atlantic, all of the main characters from the previous season will return for season 2, except perhaps for Eleven. Season 2 will premiere in the summer of 2017.
