After a successful seven season run, it looks like a "Pretty Little Liars" finale is imminent as the show's cast and crew are ready to move on to bigger projects. The drama, which became the longest running series on Freeform (formerly ABC Family), was adapted from the young adult novels of the same name by Sara Shepard.
In the "Pretty Little Liars" finale episode for the show's summer run, we saw Hanna (Ashley Benson) has held Noel (Brant Daugherty) hostage so she can get his confession, Entertainment Weekly reported. But then a lot of crazy things happen (it is a weekly "Pretty Little Liars" tradition) and the episode ended with Noel's head decapitated and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) shot. Does this mean that Spencer will die? Let us see when the second half of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 premieres in the spring.
Just a few days ago, Cosmopolitan reported that creator and showrunner I. Marlene King has confirmed that the "Pretty Little Liars" finale will air next year as the seventh season will indeed be the last for the popular show. The "Pretty Little Liars" finale will most likely air in June 2017 as the first of the last ten episodes for the series will be broadcasted in April.
King also said that the "Pretty Little Liars" finale will be a two-hour affair and will possibly feature a wedding. She also teased the return of Julian Morris and Ed Kerr as Wren Kingston and Pastor Ted Wilson respectively in the episodes before the "Pretty Little Liars" finale.
