Sony PlayStation 4 Pro has been unveiled and it will be available for purchase this November 10 at $399. The upgrades and the details about the latest version of the Sony PlayStation 4 Pro have also been released.
The Verge reported that the Sony PlayStation 4 Pro has been equipped with a faster processor, better graphics, and support for the 4K resolution. Accordingly, it will not replace the base PlayStation 4 and some of the new games will be playable on it.
Another great feature for the Sony PlayStation 4 Pro is that it comes with a 1TB hard drive. Mark Cenry, the chief architect of Sony PlayStation 4 Pro, said in a statement, "PS4 Pro is not intended to blur the line between console generations. Instead, the vision is to take the PS4 experience to extraordinary new levels."
Some of the games featured by Cenry using the Sony PlayStation 4 Pro are "Spider-Man" and "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided." Cenry said that in these games, the Sony PlayStation 4 Pro was able to pull new details from the scenes of the game despite it being developed for PlayStation 4 originally. The games to be played on Sony PlayStation 4 Pro will have improved graphics overall.
Some of the new games to be supported by Sony PlayStation 4 Pro are "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," "Modern Warfare:Reamastered," "Battlefield 1," "FIFA 16," and "Mass Effect: Andromeda." However, these will be coming at a later time after the Sony PlayStation 4 Pro will be out in the market. Another feature that Sony PlayStation 4 Pro will improve is the VR experience. The developers were able to increase the crispness of scenes as well as the frame rate.
The Wall Street Journal also reported that a smaller and more energy-efficient PlayStation 4 will be out on sale this September 15 for $299.
