'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date PS4 Xbox One: Three New Playable Characters Revealed; Title Coming to PC?

"Kingdom Hearts 3" release date for PS4 and Xbox One updates could be scarce online, but that doesn't stop the rumor mill from turning. New rumors are claiming that the highly anticipated Square Enix offering will also be made available on PC.

SegmentNext raised the possibility that apart from a "Kingdom Hearts 3" release for PS4 and Xbox One, there will also be a PC version underway. While it remains to be a huge possibility, Square Enix has yet to confirm or deny the rumor.

It was previously reported that "Kingdom Hearts 3" was unlisted from Xbox Japan's site. As KHInsider tweeted, the alarming update sent fans into a frenzy thinking that the new title could now be a Sony exclusive.

As recent reports now confirm, its disappearance was purely a glitch, and as several sites claimed, the "Kingdom Hearts 3" listing for Xbox One is now back on the site. However, fans will still have to wait a little longer as details for pre-order has not yet been disclosed as of writing.

Meanwhile, fans will definitely be excited to know that a new character will be playable in "Kingdom Hearts 3" for PS4 and Xbox One. As Mobile&Apps reported, Kairi will be a playable character in the new title. This was definitely a feat since fans have clamored for Kairi to be a playable character since fans discovered that she can wield a keyblade in "KH 2." Rumor has it that a young Xenohart and Eraqus will also be playable in the upcoming game.

Apart from the "Kingdom Hearts 3" release date for PS4 and Xbox One, fans are also looking forward to the "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" release slated for December 2016. Series creator and director Tetsuya Nomura previously confirmed that "KH 2.8" will have a significant connection to "KH 3."
