Blake Griffin is becoming a regular in the NBA trade rumor mills. Los Angeles Clippers have already spoken up that they are not trading their power forward but reports have it that Griffin is set to join Chicago Bulls.
Sports Daily suggest the idea of Chicago Bulls betting for the best trade in the NBA history, which includes Blake Griffin. Per the report, Bulls have constantly shown interest in acquiring the five-time NBA All-Star and if they can get to sign Griffin, it will change the team's fate in the NBA league.
If Blake Griffin joins Chicago Bulls, he can play alongside Dwyane Wade, Jimmy Butler and Rajon Rondo. In fact, if Bulls and Clipper pursue the trade, the former could have the best starting five in the East conference.
For sure, Cleveland Cavaliers will send out its power trio LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love but it won't be enough to beat Chicago Bulls. Rajon Rondo is a three-time NBA assists leader while Dwyane Wade is a great shooting guard and is even Miami Heat's All-time leading scorer.
Blake Griffin joining the Bulls will benefit everyone, after all, Griffin understands that between him and Chris Paul, the Clippers will always be the latter's team. With this trade, the Windy City is becoming one of the strongest contenders in the Eastern conference, which has high chances of making it in the playoffs.
Meanwhile, the report suggests that LA Clippers look for potential players to be added in the trade with Chicago Bulls. Perhaps, they could ask for Taj Gibson and Nikola Mirotic.
Clearly, Chicago Bulls will benefit from this trade but if Blake Griffin is not staying with Los Angeles Clippers, the latter should trade him than lose him in the free market agency. However, Doc Rivers, head coach of LA Clippers already announced that they are not welcome to trade talks involving Chris Paul and Blake Griffin.
LA Clippers intend to keep Chris Paul and Blake Griffin until they retire. So, does this suggest that Bulls is far away from forming its potential power five including Griffin?
