NBA Trade Rumors: Lakers Want To Remove Nick Young In Their Roster; Sending Swaggy P And Future Draft Pick To Philadelphia 76ers?

Nick Young has been in the bad light in the past season and Los Angeles Lakers is not taking it lightly against him. Reports have it that Lakers want him out in their roster but couldn't find any team willing to absorb his contract. Thus, LA Lakers will send Young back to his former team Philadelphia 76ers together with their future draft pick.

Parent Herald previously reported that Los Angeles Lakers is itching to remove Nick Young on their team. Unfortunately, no team in the NBA league showed interest in acquiring the shooting guard.

Nick Young has been linked to Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets and Boston Celtics but up to now Young is with LA Lakers. In fact, there are rumors that Celtics is interested in signing Swaggy P despite his poor performance but the talks didn't progress.

According to 12UP, Los Angeles Lakers are now desperate to unload Nick Young. The report suggests that Lakers could send Young to Philadelphia 76ers along with their future picks. The Sixers are known for absorbing bad contracts in exchange for draft picks.

This news is good and bad for Nick Young. Good because it gives him a new team to land on. Also, Young has played for Philadelphia 76ers so it won't take huge adjustments. Unfortunately, bad because the team also dumps bad contracts after getting the draft picks, which could potentially be Swaggy P's future.

Reports have it that Nick Young struggled on the basketball court in the last NBA season. Aside from this he made bad headlines and even picked a fight with his Lakers' teammate D'Angelo Russell, after the latter recorded Swaggy P's confession that he cheated on Azalea.

The said video went viral and eventually confessed Azalea to split with Nick Young. Clearly, Swaggy P is not on solid ground and his future in the NBA league is unsure. However, some believe that the player just needs a fresh start.

Do you agree that Nick Young just needs a fresh start? If Swaggy P returns in Philadelphia 76ers will they drop his contract? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
