A "Fifty Shades Darker" poster has been released worldwide ahead of the launch of the official full trailer for the erotic drama movie. Meanwhile, the series book author E L James also teases fans of the next "Fifty Shades" book with an excerpt posted on Facebook.
The poster shows Anastacia Steele (Dakota Johnson) donning a lacy mask with Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) on her back. It also says, "Slip into something a shade darker." And at the bottom, "Valentine's Day," confirming the release date of the film.
A 20-second video clip was also released to tease the full trailer coming out on Sept. 13. It starts with a fireworks display and then shows Ana in her stilettos and black stockings. A box with two masks opens. Mr. Grey is standing behind Ana and then whispered, "Intrigued?"
Meanwhile, in honor of Ana's birthday over the weekend, "Fifty Shades" author E L James posted on her Facebook page an excerpt from a new book. The book is currently called, "Fifty Shades Darker from Christian's Point of View." As the working title implies, the next installation will tell the same events but the insights would be from Christian's side. Also revealed in the excerpt is the target of releasing the book in 2017.
The excerpt tells that moment when Christian Grey is waiting for Ana outside the Seattle Independent Publishing where she is working. Time seems to move so slow for Grey and he can't do anything but worry and think about the worst thing that could've happened while he let her go. Now, Grey wants to win her back. But he was not sure if she wants to get back to him. He keeps on checking his watch and tries to calm himself, until he saw Ana outside the building, walking towards him.
"Fifty Shades Darker" will hit the theaters on Feb. 14, 2017.
