Royal Vacation: Princess Charlotte, Prince George To Join Parents In Canada Visit

The British royal couple Kate Middleton and Prince William are scheduled for a tour in Canada later this month. It looks like their entourage, however, will have two extra additions. Reports reveal that their two adorable children are joining them during the trip.

The Kensington Palace has announced that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are going to bring Prince George and Princess Charlotte when they visit Canada on Sept. 24, USA Today reports. The news release states, "(Will and Kate) have received so many wonderful messages from Canadians since the birth of their children and look forward to having the chance to introduce their young family to the country."

The palace also disclosed that the tour, which will last until Oct. 1, will consist of 30 engagements. According to Hello! Canada, the royal family will arrive in Victoria, British Columbia on Saturday, Sept. 24, where they will stay for three nights. From there, they will proceed to Yukon for two nights, and then they will head back to British Columbia.

Their activities would include paying respects at Victoria's Cenotaph, taking a float plane to Vancouver where they will visit Sheway charity, and visiting the Immigration Services Society of British Columbia and the Kitsilano Coastguard Station in Vanier park. They will also visit the world's largest temperate rainforest, the Great Bear Rainforest, and meet students at the University of British Columbia.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are expected to attend a children's party at the grounds of the Government House and play with children from military families who have been invited. After the party, the royal family will have some private time to spend.

This will be the first overseas royal tour of the 16 months old Princess Charlotte. Prince George, now 3 years old, joined Kate and William in New Zealand and Australia in 2014.
