Tesla Updates Its Model S Software For Self Driving Cars For More Safety

Tesla has released its updated new software for its self driving cars. Tesla is after the safety of drivers using their autopilot cars for this newest software update 7.0.

Tesla has posted on their website their newest software update for the Model S. Tesla said the update will allow Model S to utilize its "unique combination of cameras, radar, ultrasonic sensors and data to automatically steer down the highway, change lanes, and adjust speed in response to traffic. " Tesla also said that parking will be easier as the Model S software update will scan for parking and will automatically park the driver's car after the driver's order.

Tesla added that the update will help the driver with almost everything. Tesla's self driving cars, with its new update, will definitely prevent accidents and avoid danger. Their autopilot cars will lessen the driver's burden and will make them comfortable. Travelling will be more easy, safe and nice though there is traffic.

Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk said Model S' new update will weigh heavily on radar signals for the road guide along roadways. They have also added protection to keep drivers engage at high speed. When the car is on Autosteer mode, the driver will remain engage and aware.

Wall Street Journal said one of the reasons Tesla released this new update is because of its recent accident that resulted in the death of a passenger.of one of Tesla's self-driving cars. In May this year, an accident happened due to one of Tesla's autopilot cars not automatically breaking. The system did not recognize the truck that was headed to the way of the Tesla self-driving car.

The software update for the Model S will be released starting next week and will continue up until the following week. It will be delivered to vehicles over the air.
